The Systems Engineer will support the integration of Multi-Mission High Energy Laser (MMHEL) subsystems with each other and with integration of the MMHEL system onto a ground tactical vehicle.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in systems engineering.
The ability to identify distilling stake-holder requirements, top-level system requirements, and intended CONOPs into system requirements and flowing these requirements down to the MMHEL subsystems.
Working knowledge of performing trade studies to allocate SWaP (space, weight, and power) and functionality between the subsystems.
Experience developing ICDs between the various subsystems and ensuring subsystem providers adherence.
The ability to support selection of mission equipment such as acquisition radar, EO/IR sensor systems, computing hardware and software platforms.
The ability to develop materials to support technical reviews.
Understanding of developing and/or reviewing subsystem and system level integration and acceptance tests
Experience supporting development of MMHEL demonstration test plans
The ability to support/oversee configuration management for system drawings and specifications.
Oversee development of users' manual and training material.
Familiarity with DOORS and MBSE a plus.
Familiarity with US Army systems such as MAFIA and Mounted Family of Computers (MFoCS) also a plus.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
